Imagine flying through the rainforest canopy! Zip lining in Belize is a thrilling, exciting adventure and the experience is totally indescribable! Only the true adventurers at heart are advised to participate in this sport

The densest areas of biodiversity are found in the forest canopy, as it often supports a rich flora of epiphytes, including orchids, bromeliads, mosses and lichens. These plants attach to trunks and branches and obtain water and minerals from rain and debris that collects on the supporting plants

First, you will be introduced to your zip-line guides who will lead you to an equipment staging area where you are individually outfitted with helmets, harnesses and safety lines. Next you are given a demonstration on how to balance and guide yourself along the zip-line from one platform to the next.

One at a time, each person is connected to the aerial line by two pulleys, with the guide double-checking to ensure that a secondary safety hook was also secured. After telling you to lift and face your legs forward, the guide gives you a shove, and off you go elevated above the forest canopy.

At the far end of the zip line, another guide waits to grabs you and keeps you steady as you landed on the platform, quickly snapping your pulleys and safety hook from the line. There are a series of 8 platforms and you will be zipping for about 30 minutes. You will enjoy every thrilling minute of your aerial jungle tour.
